Welcome to South Sound Fly Fishers
South Sound Fly Fishers – is the Olympia affiliate of Fly Fishers International.
SSFF has been dedicated to the conservation of resources and education in the art, science and sport of fly fishing for over 50 years. SSFF wants to connect you with fly fishers, conservationists, and outdoor seekers.
We are a family oriented club with monthly meetings, regular fishing outings, education, conservation and community outreach.
The Garden Hackle is the club’s monthly Newsletter. It summarizes the latest plans and activities of the club. In it, you will find information about the club’s on-going activities and efforts. You’ll find articles about conservation, education classes, monthly outings, and community involvement. You can find the Garden Hackle under the Latest News and Newsletter Tab. work in conservation, education, outings, and community involvement.
We have monthly club meetings on the third Tuesday of the Month. These are typically conducted out of the North Olympia Fire Department meeting room on Boston Harbor Road. At these meetings, we typically have a presentation on a topic related to fishing and/or conservation, share latest fishing reports (factual and fictional are welcome), and take care of any club business. It is a great opportunity for beginners to get tips and old timers to brag or embellish their accomplishments. See the Events tab for further details.
