Our speaker this month will be Jim Tuggle, a lifelong angler, who went to work for the (old) Washington Department of Fisheries as a Fisheries Patrol Officer in 1971; first patrolling Puget Sound, then later the Columbia River. His talk will be primarily about his career as an officer and the historically interesting era for salmon and fish cops. Four years ago, Jim authored a book about his first ten years titled “Fishcop”.
I am certain that you will find Jim or “Tugs” a very interesting speaker with many great stories to share. Hope to see you at the North Olympia Fire Department 5046 Boston Harbor Rd NE, Olympia, WA 98506 on Tuesday the 19th. https://southsoundflyfishers.org/event/monthly-meeting-7/
