Several members of the South Sound Fly Fishers Club helped the Northwest Youth Conservation & Fly Fishing Academy conduct this year’s session that went from June 20-27. For the 24th annual session club members Jared Wood, Kevin Angevine, Chris Tilton , Tobey Anderson , Mike Clancy, Max Doerge, Jim McAllister, and Bruce Decker helped with fly tying, casting and even some good cooking!

Colin Hitch was selected by the staff and gillies as being the “the fishing partner that everyone treasures”. His selection was based upon his qualities that showed:
- An amicable nature and deep respect for the ideas and feelings of others.
- A strong devotion to the environment and the sport of fly fishing.
- An eagerness to develop skills and a readiness to share that knowledge with camp peers.
- Standing out among their comrades to merit camp-wide recognition.

All the campers appreciated the time that these club members gave to make their camp experience a success.
