Heather calls Spokane, Washington her home, nestled in the heart of west slope cutthroat country with her life partner. Frequently characterized as a “Jill of All Trades” and an everlasting fly-fishing student, Heather stands out for her contagious enthusiasm for knowledge-sharing, mentoring, philanthropy, and innovative thinking.
Join Heather Hodson as she takes you on a DIY fly-fishing journey of four top locations in the western United States. Heather will discuss what’s needed to be a successful angler in these locations, including fishing equipment, fishing techniques, hatch charts, baitfish migrations, flies, and leader examples. The roadmap includes travel, lodging/camping, best bites, favorite watering holes, supporting local fly shops, and must stop tourist traps.
