Learn basic fly-tying techniques, with no prior knowledge of fly fishing or fly-tying required! We’ll start with basic skills and materials and build weekly as you progress through more advanced techniques and fly patterns. By the end of the class you will have learned eight different fly patterns.

Our Beginning Fly Tying Class will hold its first session on September 29, 2025 at the Olympia Center. There are still a few spots open. Interested students over age 12 can go to the Olympia Parks and Recreation site here to sign up.
