SSFF awarded Fly Fisher of the Year to two members this year. The team of Bert French and Tim Mettier, fly fishing neighbors and friends contributed countless hours to our education programs immediately after joining the club. They attended Introduction to Fly Fishing, Casting, and Introduction to Fly Tying. At each following class they came and helped the students. Many students complimented our team naming Bert and Tim specifically as personally helpful to them. Congratulations Bert and Tim, and THANK YOU for all the time and effort you put into helping others start in this sport!
