I just wanted to make sure that everyone is aware that our meeting this month is still going to be at the North Olympia Fire Department at 5046 Boston Harbor Rd NE, Olympia, WA 98506.
Our program this month is Nymph Fishing Rivers and Streams which explains what goes on below the surface of a stream and how to catch trout with nymphs. It covers equipment, insect behavior, patterns, and tactics. Everything you should know, even if you don’t want to know it!
Our speaker is Rick Hafele, who has a Master’s degree in aquatic entomology and a minor in fisheries biology, and has worked as a professional aquatic biologist for over 40 years. As a fly-fishing writer Rick penned the Entomology column for American Angler magazine for 30 years.
