Our speaker this month is Blake Merwin, the owner and founder of the Gig Harbor Fly Shop and has been a leading voice in Puget Sound fly fishing for more than two decades. He started kayak fishing over a dozen years ago as a simple way to reach local saltwater beaches, but it quickly grew into a full‐blown passion. Since then, Blake has spent countless hours exploring the Sound by pedal and paddle, refining techniques, testing gear, and helping anglers discover how effective — and fun — kayak fly fishing can be in our local waters.

Remember that starting this month we will meet at the South Bay fire station. We will use the larger meeting room for our regular club meeting on June 16.
