The mid week outing does not have a gilley, but is an open invitation to any members to go to our targeted spot mid week. This month’s outing will be to Blue Creek on the Cowlitz River. There should be a variety of salmonids available including, coho, fall
chinook, summer run steelhead and sea-run cutthroat.
Flies: variety of typical salmon and steelhead streamers
Lines: 8 wt. shooting heads with sink tips
Directions: From I-5, east on US 12 for 6.6 mi, right on Tucker Rd. for 1 mi, left on Chasse Rd. for 2.1 mi, left on Spencer Rd. for 1 mi, right on Blue Creek Ln. and follow to the end.
