Tenkara Fly Fishing – Jeff Gottfried created Educational Recreational Adventures, a non-profit
organization that engaged youth in field-based science and environmental education and
training in outdoor skills. Training included fly fishing, traditional archery, cross-country
skiing, and wilderness skills. It was during this time when he first learned about tenkara fly
fishing. Jeff and his small staff of former students were regularly teaching 6-12 youngsters,
as young as 7 years old, how to fly fish.

Although he has been officially retired since 2016, Jeff continues to share his passion for fly
fishing and the outdoors with people and groups of all ages. Please come to Jeff’s
