Monthly General Meeting featuring Rick Hafele

March 17 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Rick Hafele has a Master’s degree in aquatic entomology and a minor in fisheries biology, and has worked as a professional aquatic biologist for over 40 years. As a fly-fishing writer Rick penned the Entomology column for American Angler magazine for 30 years. His newest publication – Rick Hafele’s Favorite Flies and How to Fish Them – is available in paperback or kindle format through Amazon, also available at his website here.

Our program this month is Nymph Fishing Rivers and Streams (50-60 min): This slide show explains what goes on below the surface of a stream and how to catch trout with nymphs. It covers equipment, insect behavior, patterns, and tactics. Everything you should know, even if you don’t want to know it!
