Remember that starting this month we will meet at the South Bay fire station, 3506 Shincke Road NE,
Olympia, WA 98506. Club Officers will be serving up hot dogs, hamburgers, and water. Bring a potluck side item and your own drinks. Alcohol is strictly not allowed in accordance with fire station policy and our usage agreements we sign with them every year.

Any one else who would like to help with set up, should be there by 5:30. Potluck and casting practice starts at 6:00, club meeting starts at 7:00. 

Our speaker this month is Blake Merwin, the owner and founder of the Gig Harbor Fly Shop and has been a leading voice in Puget Sound fly fishing for more than two decades. He started kayak fishing over a dozen years ago as a simple way to reach local saltwater beaches, but it quickly grew into a full‐blown passion. Since then, Blake has spent countless hours exploring the Sound by pedal and paddle, refining techniques, testing gear, and helping anglers discover how effective — and fun — kayak fly fishing can be in our local waters.
